Volga Dnepr Ilyushin IL-76 Takeoff RWY 23 @ Toronto Pearson Int’l October 16, 2016Hello everyone! Time for some night action. Here is the departure of the Volga Dnepr Ilyushin IL-76 that came to Toronto about a week and a half ago to drop of some cargo supplies for the Tim Hortons that is being built on Derry Road, near the entrance to the North Lounge. Upon arrival we were told that they’d be staying here for a while since they had no other places to fly to and no new contracts at the moment. A week and a half later, I was alerted that on October 16th, they’d be flying out to Istres, France at 2300hrs local. So I went to Cargo West to get the Clearance and they were assigned RWY 23 so I went to FedEx to get their departure since I wanted to hear some good sound. Well, in truth they sounded just like an Air Canada Airbus A320-200 but I’m glad I got to see an Ilyushin IL-76 departing Toronto! I look forward to another one really soon! 🙂 Enjoy the video!
