IN THIS VIDEO: Hello everyone! The final performer at Airshow London 2016 were the CAF Snowbirds, the classic Canadian show closers. The team was cleared to 15,000 feet to do the high show and they rocked the skies from there. I was finally able to get the team on frequency for my new scanner which can pick up the military band on it. During Friday’s Airshow London 2016 Hour of Power, I tried to get them on 246.500 since that was the frequency they were on at the Canadian International Air Show, but on Sunday, one of the guys that I spoke with told me it was 272.100 and I checked online and sure enough, when I programmed it in the CAF Snowbirds came on. It was great to finally film them and to hear them communicate to each other from my own scanner. Enjoy the video of their great show!

I would like to say a big thanks to Airshow London 2016 and to everyone who helped to organize the show! The show was a great success and it was definitely worth the drive down from Mississauga, Ontario. Since not having the show since 2004, Airshow London has been brought back up to speed in 2016 and all I can say is that this show was incredible, one of the best airshows in Ontario, if not one of the best in Canada. And better news yet, they’ve already hinted another Airshow London in 2017. So here’s to next year, I can’t wait! 🙂
