IN THIS VIDEO: Hello everyone! Welcome to the next act. This is the one where the sound goes from props to jets. The next performer was the first highly awaited performer of the show, the RCAF CF-18 Hornet Demo, piloted by Captain Ryan Kean, call sign “ROID”. This year, the Hornet flies in a paint scheme to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP) and I must say, it looks amazing!!! ROID started off with the high show, the overhead pass and then some cuban eights, rolls, minimum radius turns and the regular Hornet Demo routine. There were a few changes to this years demo I must note but it didn’t stop the awe from hearing and seeing the Hornet. Afterwards, the Hornet finished with a final pass and exited the show line to the right to return to Lake Simcoe Regional Airport to land. I must say that given that I filmed this with my old camcorder, the footage ain’t even that bad. I hope you all Enjoy and I’ll catch you all in the next act!
