With the upcoming Canadian federal election at this time, 3 of the 5 political parties leases some aircraft to use on the campaign run. Conservative Party leader Stephen Harper and NDP Party leader Tom Mulcair used Air Canada Airbus A319-100’s with their party logos on it, while Justin Trudeau for the Liberal Party used an Air Transat Boeing 737-800/Scimitars for his campaign. And as it just so happens to be, the Liberal Plane was the only one I managed to catch at Toronto on an overcast, rainy day in Toronto coming in from Ottawa (CYOW) and they did end up winning the 2015 Canadian federal election.
