Antonov Design Bureau An-124@ Toronto Pearson Int’l December 13, 2015Hello everyone! Here I have in this video the 4th visit of an Antonov An-124 to Toronto Pearson Int’l and probably the last one for this year. I got word of this bird on Thursday, coming in from Rzeszow, Poland then to Shannon, Ireland and then to Toronto, Canada. Was scheduled in Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 4:30pm to bring in some tires.

So I got to Toronto Pearson Int’l at 12:00pm. It was cloudy and overcast, but that didn’t stop me at all. I killed off and waited 7 hours since the flight chose to go to Reykjavik, Iceland for a fuel stop and a few more loads since it was heavy. It was then announced it would come at 7:15pm but that didn’t stop me from spotting, AND IT WAS WORTH IT!! By 6:50pm it had gotten totally dark, and the fog that was at 100-200 feet was creating AMAZING condensation on the wings, followed by the light up of the aircraft with the fog and the landing lights reflection on the aircraft, BRILLIANT. And then the landing of the Antonov An-124 on RWY 05, with only seconds to react since we only heard it coming in and the video and experience was just un-describable.
