AV-8B Harrier jets take off and land aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6). Bonhomme Richard is currently deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility with embarked Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). The Cobra and Sea Stallion helicopters are assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262.
