Random Plane Spotting Part 2 – Watching Airplanes Chicago O’Hare International AirportSit back and enjoy watching the show as I take you on a roundabout tour of the south side of Chicago O’Hare International Airport KORD / ORD and we visit a bunch of my favorite planespotting locations including 22L departures, 28C arrivals, and 28R departures. It is important to remember that ORD has 2 to 3 other runways on the north side also operating at the same time all of this is happening. Some airlines use mostly the north or south side of the airport depending. Chicago O’Hare has 8 runways total with a 9th due for opening this October.
