Arkefly Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Landing

Arkefly Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Landing @ Toronto Pearson Int’l June 27, 2015Once again I have pulled off another Inaugural Flight capture! This is the SEASONAL INAUGURAL for Arkefly with the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner replacing the Boeing 767-300ER/Winglets previously used on this route. THIS IS NOT the Inaugural flight for Arkefly. Determined by one of the members in Toronto Pearson Aviation in April, it was concluded that Arkefly would operate Wednesday and Saturday seasonal service to Toronto from Amsterdam with the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. I was super excited because CYYZ was getting another Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and this bird was very colourful, one of the best looking Dreamliners out there.

Today the day came and 25-35mm of rain was called. I didn’t care since I’m a diehard/hardcore spotter so I went anyways. Sure enough there were other spotters there too. Big thanks to my mom for driving me there. We were able to elude traffic and get there just as he turned on to final. And then I filmed him. Sorry for the shakiness, I didn’t bring my tripod cause I didn’t want it to get wet, so I hand filmed. Wasn’t raining much but I was able to beautifully capture this bird! One of the nicest Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners here at CYYZ. Enjoy my very first 4K Video as well! And please note, I’m not using a 4K Camcorder so it might be less 4K than what you’d expect to see taken with a 4K Camcorder or DSLR.
