Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Skyfest 2015 Part 1
Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Skyfest 2015 Part 1
Hello everyone! And welcome to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum 2015 Skyfest held at John C. Munro Int’l Airport. This was my first time attending the Skyfest and I have to say it was quite good. The intro starts off by me narrating the main inside hall of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and what is found there. Next I take you out on to the flight deck where the current member flights and flights were taking place. We were informed there would be a formation flight with the De havilland Mosquito, B-25 Mitchell and the P-51 Mustang around 4:00pm EDT. Unfortunately, the Avro Lancaster had suffered a problem the day before with the 3rd engine so it couldn’t fly for today. The rest of the line-up was good as well, we even saw two CargoJet Boeing 727-200F’s and a UPS Airbus A330-300F.
After viewing the ramp, I noticed the Mitchell starting the engines for one of its flights so I ran live on camera immediately over there and filmed the start along with the taxi out. The aircraft seen flying in the video are the Harvard, Chipmunk, B-25 Mitchell flying right over the museum and the Beech 18. That’s all for now everyone and part 2 will come tomorrow! Enjoy!
