Toronto Pearson Int’l Spotting November 2014IN THIS VIDEO: Hello everyone! Welcome to spotting on Sunday, November 9, 2014. Weather was cold today. To be honest I got so much used to the summer temperature that I couldn’t take this cold anymore, haha, but I did make sure I dressed up well. RWY 23 was being used for departures, so thanks to a friend of mine from Toronto Pearson Aviation who drove us over to RWY 24R. Some good catches there were the Air Transat Airbus A310-300 in “Old Colours” and the Cubana Cargo Tupolev Tu-204. We went back to RWY 23 then then they opened it up after 3pm EDT; highlights from there include the Air France Airbus A340-300 which they used for Winter OPS, Air Canada’s newest Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner C-GHPX and Sky Pacific Aviation Boeing 737-500 on taxiway Hotel.

Spotting on Friday, November 14, 2014 was quite good! Day started out by catching a Rare Black RCAF CL-601 Challnger Landing on RWY 23. More catches included another awesome catch of the China Eastern Airbus A340-600 in regular livery, since they were getting retired soon. RWY’s then switched to RWY 05 and then back to RWY 23 in 15 min!! Never seen that happen before. But we went back and forth like crazy, haha. Anyways back from RWY 05 to RWY 23 we caught some awesome sunset landings including the Emirates Airbus A380-800 landing and several privates. That night we figured out the Antonov An-225 Mriya would be coming to Toronto in the coming days, so we basically freaked the hell out. One of the best nights ever.

Spotting on November 30, 2014 turned out good. I was able to arrive in time to catch my first departure video of the Korean Air Cargo Boeing 777-200LR/F on RWY 23. Other awesome catches included a RARE American Airlines Boeing 757-200/Winglets bringing the Dallas Stars. I was curious to find out why the came early, but it turns out their aircraft was being used by the NBA Team, so they had to improvise. Moving on, we got to catch the departure as well, caught one of my favourites; the Republic Airlines Embraer ERJ-190, several heavies landing and overheads plus a Pakistan International Airlines night time departure on RWY 23.
