CFS Macro – Ashigara Myoko Class Cruiser
CFS Macro – Ashigara Myoko Class Cruiser. CFS Version of a WWII ship. Ashigara was the final vessel of the four-member Myoko-class of heavy cruisers of the Imperial Japanese Navy, which were active in World War II. The other ships of the class were Nachi, Myoko, and Haguro. Before WW2, Ashigara was known in Europe in 1937. Assigned detached duty for a diplomatic mission to Europe for the coronation of King George VI. She departed Yokosuka, on her way to Portsmouth, arriving 10 May. Following the 20 May naval review, Ashigara called on Kiel, Germany and the majority of the crew was allowed to visit Berlin, where the senior staff was received by Adolf Hitler on 24 May. On 31 May, Ashigara participated in the German Kriegsmarine Day naval review, celebrating the German World War I victory at the Battle of Jutland. Ashigara saw combat at Battle of the Philippines (1941–42), Battle of the Java Sea (1942), Battle of Leyte Gulf (1944), and other minor operations. On 8 June 1945, Ashigara came under attack from three Allied submarines, and was hit by five torpedoes, sinking it. There are two API files: Ashigara-w (with wake) and Ashigara-nw (withouth wake). This macro was tested only in CFS1 sceneries, but I believe that can work without problems in CFS2-3 and FS2000-2002.
