Rare Beast !! Maximus Air Cargo Antonov AN-124 Departure at Liege

Have a look at this Antonov An-124 of Maximus Air Cargo. It` s a very rare visitor in the european area cause Maximus is mainly operating in the Middle East. This one operated a military charter for the NATO. Originally it was planned to arrive at Geilenkirchen (GER) but there were construction works and there would have been no way for the An-124 to vacate the runway. Thereafter it was planned for Maastricht (NL) but it was rejected by the airport authorities. In the end it arrived at Liege in the middle of the night and departed when I was present.
