SMBC Aviation delivers first B737 to Batik Air

SMBC Aviation has delivered a new Boeing B737-800 aircraft on lease to Batik Air Indonesia. This is the fifth aircraft of a six aircraft Sale and Leaseback transaction.

Lion Air, the parent company of Batik Air, created a full service airline which began operations in May 2013 using 737-900ERs.
