imageOn the 25th of November 2014, passengers of the “KatekAvia” company had to push their plane to the taxiway. The Tu-134 airplane had to deliver 74 passengers from Irkutsk city to Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

Oil in the aircraft chassis iced up blocking the brakes due to -52C temperature in the airport of Igarka. Fearing the flights to Krasnoyarsk could be delayed, many of the 70 passengers used their own strength to free the 30 ton Tupolev 134. The Norilsk Transport Prosecutions has urged an audit to investigate the case of Russian legislation on safety, which will assess the legality of the actions of all those involved.
