AgustaWestland selects Kingwing as Authorized Service Centre in China

AgustaWestland announced today that Kingwing General Aviation Co. Ltd. (KINGWING ) has been appointed an Authorized Service Centre in China for the AW139 intermediate twin helicopter. The type will be supported with maintenance services supplied through three bases including heliports in Shanghai Gaodong, Xiamen and Fuzhou Zhuqi.

This latest achievement is a major step forward for the development of a network of support centres in China. More than 110 AgustaWestland helicopters of various type has been sold to Chinese customers to date to satisfy a range of mission requirements, including law enforcement, rescue, disaster relief, firefighting, public utility, patrol, environmental monitoring, harbour pilot shuttle, VIP and passenger transport duties. Seventy of these aircraft have been sold in the last 12 months.
