Airbus A320 Shortfield Landing at Airshow – Smooth Touchdown & Taxi – AEGEAN @ Athens Flying Week

It has been routine for an Aegean Airlines Airbus A320 to visit the airshow at Tatoi Airfield every September for a series of low passes, and even a touch and go the last time. But nobody expected the airliner to pull its speedbrakes up and hit the reverse for a full stop landing! Not only did the pilot touch down well after the beginning of the short runway, but the A320 stopped so quick he had to let it run to reach the end of the runway and backtrack! That is what I call a shortfield landing! Watch the aircraft taxi back and wave to the pilots as they wave to you, heading to the beginning of the runway they landed on for a shortfield takeoff.
