First Soviet attack on Berlin by Pe-8s was on 10 August 1941 by 432 TBAP, VVS-DA (or ADD) .Attacks continued during winter 1941-42 (regiment renamed to 746 OAP-DD and finally 25 GvAP-DD on 18 September 1943). Other types, such as DB-3/Il-4 and Er-2/Yer-2, were also used.
