K7 Glider Soaring Flight – Cockpit View – Stalling and Spinning – Winch Launch and Landing

A typical winch launch in a K7 glider from Mammari Airstrip which turned out to be a low 700 foot launch. A few seconds later after a quick search I managed to find some lift coming from some concrete below and struggled to keep in it. I switched between thermals and managed to stay up for 27 minutes and barely climb to 1400 feet which was enough to practice some stalls and spin entries, which turned out to be spiral dives. The rest was an irregular approach and landing from the northern runway to stop and the beginning of the southern runway, as the wind direction had changed as we were thermalling. Soaring is so much fun!
