With all the snow we got over this last winter here in Chicago you might think it’s finally all stopped. It has, but in a way it hasn’t. The cottonwood trees near the approach to Chicago O’Hare spreading seeds on the wind = Snow in May! Kinda. 😀 I was really hoping for arrivals from the east, but this last Saturday approach was from the west. Filmed 5/31/14. Gotta just go with it. I decided to do some overheads instead. I still keep trying to find ways to film more takeoffs but these can be really hard to get, especially now that they don’t use the 32-14 (L & R) runways for departures anymore.Â
