SBPA RWY11 WET – Porto Alegre Approach ILS

A simple video of an ILS approach on a raining day to SBPA — Porto Alegre Salgado Filho Intl airport. No system explanations or music. All communications with ACC, APP, TWR and GRND are in Portuguese so it you want skit right up to final approach and landing go to 04:40 of the film.

The camera was placed at my eyes height, so this is basically the pilot point of view on approach. Unfortunately this as a CRT display equipped aircraft, so there is nothing I can do about the “blinking” effect on film, looks terrible, I know it!
