WestJet Encore to unveil its first Bombardier Q400

Media are invited to tour WestJet Encore’s first Canadian-made Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at WestJet’s Calgary campus.

WestJet Encore launches service on Monday, June 24, 2013. This is the only opportunity to get a close-up look at the aircraft, obtain stock images and take a short 90-minute flight in advance of launch day. WestJet executives will be on hand for a brief ceremony followed by media interviews.

Any media wishing to take the flight must RSVP no later than 3 p.m. MDT on June 19 to media@westjet.com. Note that we require the names of those flying for the passenger manifest.
