VATSIM Germany Announces Frankfurt RealOps 2013

VATSIM Germany invites you to Frankfurt RealOPS 2013: experience real world air-traffic for 5 hours.

Frankfurt airport is one of the important aviation hubs of the world. With more than 56 million passengers last year this airport is not only Germany’s busiest airport, it is also the third busiest one in Europe – measured by the volume of cargo even the number 1 in Europe.

RealOPS is a special event in which realworld air-traffic from a specified period is simulated. Let us test the new runway configuration on VATSIM which can achieve over 120 air-traffic movements per hour.

On Saturday, 08th June 2013, 17-22 UTC we offer you more almost 400 bookalbe flights and at least five hours of air-traffic control in the heart of Europe.

In order to offer you the best period of traffic with the most interesting flights, all the real-world flights have been moved 5 hours forward. This year’s schedule reflects the movements which took place at Frankfurt Airport on a Saturday between 1200z and 1700z.
