ExecuJet Africa sees high demand at Lagos facility

aviation_newsExecuJet Africa’s Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO) facility at Mohammed Murtala Airport in Lagos, Nigeria, has successfully completed the first base maintenance check on a Hawker 800XP aircraft amidst high demand for the service.

The Lagos MRO, an authorised service facility for Bombardier and Hawker Beechcraft, has additional aircraft due in for scheduled base maintenance checks, including another Hawker 800XP and a Bombardier Global Express. Steve Bothma, Maintenance Director, ExecuJet Africa, says: “Since operations began at our Lagos facility, it has been well received and continues to expand in line with the steady growth of business aviation in Africa. We are extremely proud of the MRO’s development and progress.”

With a secure access way from the main road and direct access to the runway and taxiway, the 5,000m² facility features a wide concrete apron with ample aircraft parking space. The maintenance hangar offers a range of amenities including offices, parts storage and workshop areas.

FBO services include state-of-the-art ground support equipment, a VIP lounge, gymnasium and 24-hour support capabilities. World-class passenger and crew amenities are provided by a team of experienced staff, able to offer technical assistance, flight planning, weather reports, catering, fuelling and hotel accommodation.
