AeroSvit commencing flights from Kyiv to Murmansk

 Ukrainian Airlines will launch air carriages between Kyiv and Murmansk, an industrial center in Northwest Russia, the largest city north of the Arctic Circle, on May 25th, 2012. 


Flights to Murmansk will be performed twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. The flight between the two cities will last approximately three hours and a half. Boeing 737 aircraft will be operated on the route. 


Due to convenient connections, flights to Murmansk will also be available to passengers, arriving to Kyiv with AeroSvit flights from the cities of as well as from other cities of Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and Transcaucasia . 

Murmansk will be the ninth Russian city on the flights map of AeroSvit, the largest air carrier flying between and . 

In particular, AeroSvit performs scheduled flights to Moscow , St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad , seasonal routes to Novosibirsk , Nizhnevartovsk and Krasnodar . In summer season 2012 the Ukrainian airline has already launched flights to new destinations – Rostov-on-Don and Ekaterinburg – and is planning further development of the network of flights to the . 

Flights schedule on Kyiv-Murmansk-Kyiv route: 

On Tuesdays and Fridays the departure from Kyiv is scheduled at 21:35 with arrival to Murmansk at 2:05 local time the next day.
