Air Moldova: Economic indicators for March 2012
In March 2012 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 30ths. passengers, that is by 25% more in comparing with the similar period of 2011.
The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on direction Chisinau-London (+96%), Chisinau- Paris (+91), Chisinau-Kiev (+55%), Chisinau-Madrid (+51%) and Chisinau-Lisbon (+35).
More than 500 passengers used in March Air Moldova transfer service from Moscow and Bucharest to Europe, through Chisinau International Airport as a transit HUB. In the period January-March 2012 were transported more than 1300 transfer passengers.
In March 2012, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 147 tons, indicating an increase of 71% in comparing with the similar period of 2011.
