TALSCO Contracts with China Airlines for 17 Boeing 747-400
Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited’s (“HAECO’s”) landing gear overhaul facility, Taikoo (Xiamen) Landing Gear Services Co. Ltd. (“TALSCO”) in Xiamen, China, held a contract signing ceremony at the Singapore Airshow today with China Airlines for the overhaul of seventeen ship sets of Boeing 747-400 landing gears.
TALSCO will provide China Airlines with technical support, including rotable assets supply, on-gear installation, AOG support, configuration analysis, fleet analysis, and sampling inspection for the entire fleet of Boeing 747-400s for the airline. Induction of the landing gears is expected between 2013 and 2015.
