ELFAA airlines once again to the rescue of passengers following collapse of Malev
For the second time in less than a week, ELFAA airlines have come to the rescue of passengers following the news that Hungarian airline Malev has officially ceased operations.
In accordance with established ELFAA practice, ELFAA airlines, easyJet, Jet2.com, Norwegian and Wizz Air, which have overlapping routes with Malev, are offering specially discounted fares to enable stranded passengers to return home for a small fee.
John Hanlon, Secretary General of ELFAA said:
“ELFAA airlines are stepping in to assist Malev passengers who may have
difficulty securing alternative arrangements. This comes hot on the heels of
our members’ decision last week to assist Spanair passengers who had been
left high and dry following that airline’s bankruptcy.”
Offers for stranded passengers are subject to availability for a specific period
