After its introduction in autumn 2009, Air France today welcomed its one millionth passenger in Premium Voyageur. To celebrate the occasion, Air France reserved an unexpected welcome for a passenger when he checked in for flight AF218 to Mumbai.

Mr. Mukesh Chawla, an Indian businessman travelling in Premium Voyageur on business, won two return tickets from India as well as several Air France branded items including a red suitcase from the “Air France by Le Tanneur” range. These gifts were presented to him by Jean-Pierre Chailloux, Sales Director for Asian routes, accompanied by an Indian customer services representative from the Air France multicultural team at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

”I only travel with Air France and am very honoured and surprised to receive this prize. In Premium Voyageur, I particularly appreciate the privacy of the cabin and the large seat tray which enables me to work in a comfortable and peaceful environment”, stated Mr. Chawla.
