– FSX North American F-107 Ultra Sabre

FSX North American F-107 Ultra Sabre. This is AlphaSim’s freeware release of the F-107 Ultra Sabre updated for FSX. The F-107A was originally designed as a tactical fighter-bomber version of the F-100, with a recessed weapon bay under the fuselage. However, extensive design changes resulted in its change from F-100B to F-107A before the first prototype flew on June 11, 1954. This repaint shows what the aircraft might have looked like in a active fighter squadron in the 1960’s. Only three were built and the aircraft never went into production. This aircraft has a updated 2D and 3D panel, Mach 2 flight dynamics, new afterburner effects and FSX textures and updates by Mark Rooks of RDG Aircraft.
