FS2004/FSX Scenery–Rocky Mountains Part 1: Telluride (KTEX) / Silverton, Colorado (CO). This is the first part of BlueSky’s Rocky Mountains project. It covers the beautiful area around Telluride and Silverton, containing countless mountains, some even higher than 14,000 feet. Telluride itself is an interesting high elevation airport at 9000 feet situated on a 1000 foot mesa and strong vertical turbulence at the mesa edge. The scenery covers an area of 3500 sq km in standard FS2004-resolution of 4.7m/pixel. By Gottfried Razek.
