– FS2004 SNCASE 5000 / 5003 Baroudeur

FS2004 SNCASE 5000 / 5003 Baroudeur. A French fighter bomber of the early fifties. The SNCASE (Societe Nationale de Construction Aeronautique du Sud-Est) Baroudeur made its first flight on August 1st 1953. The main particularity of this aircraft was the absence of landing gear, resulting in a significant weight saving and the ability to dispense with obligatory concrete runways. The aircraft took off using a separate carriage and had retractable skids for landing. These skids even allow the plane to take-off autonomously from snow or ice-covered strips. Two SE 5000 prototypes and three SE 5003 preproduction machines were built. Unfortunately, the Baroudeur was an unsuccessful contender in the NATO contest for a light strike aircraft in 1957, and the story stopped there. The model has full moving parts and includes a generic old fighter 2D panel compatible with FS2004 and FSX. No VC. Designed by Patrice Grange. 5 Mb
