– FS2002/FS2004 Douglas A2D-1 SkyShark
FS2002/FS2004 Douglas A2D-1 SkyShark. An aircraft that installs two turboprop engines in a fuselage based on A-1 SkyRaider. Two parallel Allison XT-40’s are arranged, and a double contrarotating propeller is driven through the gear. The body becomes remarkably tall, and there are exhaust port openings in the right and left rear fuselage. Though high performance to surpass the A-1 by far was shown, the expectation of practical use of the XT-40 engine did not leave, and development was discontinued. By Kazunori Ito. 1,7 Mb
