– FS2002 Fairey Flycatcher Floatplane

FS2002 Fairey Flycatcher Floatplane. “The bent bodied, blue note, Navy bird”. The original specification for the Flycatcher called for conversion to floats. This was done and it was found there was very little difference in performance. The aircraft depicted here is of No. 403 flight with HMS Hermes in 1926. The floats were of wood and painted white.
