FS2002 Grumman F6F-5N Night Hellcat. The Grumman F6F Hellcat, one of America’s best shipboard fighters during WWII, was developed as the logical development of its ancestor cat F4F Wildcat in the famous Grumman cat tree. The F6F-5N Night Hellcat was equipped with AN/APS-4 radar system in a pod on its right wing for night air combats. This model is depicted as a Night Hellcat in overall midnight blue scheme. The arresting hook may be extended and retracted in smooth animation by pressing “/” key. Ailerons, flaps, elevators, landing gears, landing gear bay doors, rudder, arresting hook and rotating propellers in smooth animation. Pilot head turns in synchronization with aircraft turns.
