FS2000/FS2002 Pro Lockheed Model 14-N2 Super Electra. This L14-N2 model is the second of five Lockheed Model 14 aircraft released for FS2000/FS2002. The Lockheed Model 14-N2, C/N 1419, NX18973 was used for Howard Hughes’ record global flight of July 10-14, 1938. Hughes and his crew left Floyd Bennett Field in New York on July 10, 1938 and returned to the same field four days later via Paris, Moscow, Omsk, Yakutsk, Fairbanks and Minneapolis. Total flying time for the 14,672 miles was 91 hours, 14 minutes, 10 seconds, with an average speed of 206.1 mph. Download L14SDC00.ZIP for sounds.
