1) INTRO
========

Hey there!

First of all: thanks for downloading the LeoCopter !!

I was looking for something easy to build and which didn't take much time as to have something else to do once in a while.  I'm building an Alpha Jet for FS2002 and that one is pretty hard work.  So I came up with this one.  The cool thing is that I finished in about 3 houres and that this is the first time this machine has ever been build for FS.  Eventhough this machine never flew before, it does fly quite nicely in FS.

The sad part is maybe that I didn't manage to make the rotor turn.  As soon as I set it up for FS to think of it as being a rotor, it screwes up in FS.  The thing seems to be way to complex and still ... I believe it wouldn't be a pretty sight if this rotor would turn at 2000 RPM or more ...

I then tried to make it rotate as you hit the "G" button.  But that didn't want to work either.  So I just left it then as is.

I used a helicopter based air file which turned out to be pretty cool to fly.  I use this plane to "soar" over my airports while observing the other planes.  Even though it should fall from the sky in real, in FS it turns out to climb realy fast and be very easy to land !!  And you can easely make it hover because even with throttles nealy closed it just hangs there :o)

The plane uses the sound of the default Schweizer and the panel from the default Bell206.  Just in order to have some basic luxury ;o)

Don't forget to turn on your lights before take off !!!  It comes in quite handy when you are in spot plane view because otherwise you can't tell the head from the tail of this machine :o)

2) INSTALLATION
===============

Just unzip this file into your "aircraft" folder of FS2002. Make sure you check the option " Use folder names" !!!!
That's it.  You are all set.

3) REPAINTS
===========

Maybe ... just maybe someone would feel like repainting this ... but I seriously doubt it.  Anyway, feel free to do so whenever you want.  Even without my permission.  This is a plane one can build in 3 or 4 houres so I don't take much credit for it.

4) THANKS & STUFF
==================

Only thanks goes out to Leonardo Da Vinci who so kindly lend me his blue print for this machine.

And of course I can't forget the guys from MSFS.  Because if they hadn't put Gmax and Makemdl.exe in there with FS2002, I wouldn't have made this and you wouldn't be reading this.

5) DISCLAIMER
=============

Thank you for taking the time to read all this.  Now get your ass up there !  Take this puppy flyin'.

Hwomever thinks he can make this rotor turn slowly even with high throttle settings is free to contact me to get the Gmax files needed.
