It is recommended that you also install FTX EU SCO Patch 001 and Patch 002 for Orbx FTX Europe Scotland, which correct some of the bugs in the original release of the Orbx product - the patches are available from http://myftx.com/orbxfreeware/OrbxFTXEUSCOPatch001.zip and http://myftx.com/orbxfreeware/OrbxFTXSCOPatch002.zip

For all scenery to appear at its best, it is recommended that the Mesh and Texture Resolutions are set to maximum under Settings/Display in FSX/Prepar3D.

Scenery Features

Turnberry was originally set out as a championship golf course in 1902; a large hotel was built in 1906. The site was used as an air station during both World Wars. Remnants of the three runways of RAF Turnberry are still extant, two within the golf course and one outside, though all are disused. There are now three golf courses and a golf academy in addition to the refurbished hotel. The whole site was purchased by Donald Trump in 2014 and re-branded as Trump Turnberry; control has passed to his sons following his inauguration as US President in January 2017. This scenery includes:

• remains of RAF Turnberry (X6TU), including a landable section of runway
• Turnberry Hotel with landable helipad (XTYH) and Trump helicopter
• three golf courses (Ailsa course, Kintyre course and 9-hole Arran course)
• Trump Turnberry Golf Academy
• Malin Court Hotel & Restaurant
• Turnberry Point Lighthouse
• lodge and cottage accommodation in and around the resort

Most scenery objects have been custom-designed for this package

Compatibility

• Scotflight for Orbx Trump Turnberry is designed specifically to be fully compatible with Microsoft FSX/FSX Steam (or Prepar3D V1 or V2 or V3.1-V3.4) and Orbx’s FTX Europe Scotland. It is recommended that you also install FTX EU SCO Patch 001 and Patch 002 for Orbx FTX Europe Scotland.
• Scotflight for Orbx Trump Turnberry is designed to work together with any or all volumes of Scotflight for Orbx FTX Europe Scotland which add/improve most of the airfields across Scotland; it is also compatible with other Scotflight for Orbx freeware releases
• It is not compatible with any other Scotflight products, and no compatibility with any other 3rd party scenery is claimed.

Installer

• Easy-to-use installer autodetects correct Flight Simulator (FSX, FSX Steam, Prepar3D V2 or Prepar3D V3) location, no matter where installed (note that only one installation per computer is possible)
