README.TXT

This is an info for the FA-18 Superhornet. It also includes the texture fix of my last update and the panel.cfg, because I added correct afterburner effects.

IMPORTANT!!

I'm sorry for my wrong info on the US texture being a two- seater. You can assign any model to any of the textures, all the model names starting with an "F" are two-seaters,
the others are all single- seaters. So if you want to change a single- seater to a two- seater, you must change the model entry in the aircraft.cfg.
I had assigned the TEXTURE.US to "Harpoon", that's why your US texture is a single- seater.
The good part is, you can assign any model to any rexture to your liking.

Note: the cockpit does not open with the two-seaters and I don't know why.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Example:

[fltsim.0]
title=Super Hornet VFA-122 FLYING EAGLES FLIR w/ HUD
sim=Super Hornet
model=Fsparrow6 (two- seater) // change to "Harm" or any other model name without an F and you'll have a single-seater

texture=NJ

ui_type=F/A-18E w/ HUD
ui_typerole=Carrier Based

IMPORTANT:

after changing the model type you must re-start FSX to see the effect.

INSTALLATION:

1.Copy the bitmap into the texture folder "US" and overwrite, if you haven't done so already after my last fix I had posted. However, if you are not sure, just copy it into the US
  Texture folder and overwrite.

2. Copy the panel.cfg into the Superhornet panel folder and overwrite.

Enjoy your flights!!
