Remember to visit the Cockpit panel first to ensure the Virtual Cockpit gauges work properly.

Autostart
This must use the default [CTL]+E hotkey, set in the 'Controls --> Assignments' menu.

Hydralics levers
These restore to the centre when each function is complete.
The flaps therefore need two operations for full travel.

Mixture control
Only the two extreme positions are used.

Propeller Pitch control
The Propeller is modelled as a Constant Speed unit not Two position Fixed pitch.

Mk.IV Autopilot
Ensure the Avionics switch is ON, the clutch is IN and the Control Cock is at SPIN.
Fly on the required heading and height, set the ATTITUDE control to approximately the current trim and then connect the Mk.IV Autopilot (AP.) by clicking 'IN' on the AUTO CONTROLS.
When in the Cockpit view:- To change the heading click to the side of the STEERING LEVER which self-restores when on the new heading.   To rollout on the current heading immediately, click the STEERING LEVER control centre spot.
In The Virtual Cockpit:- Use the Right or Left buttons to change heading and the Mousewheel button to Rollout immediately.
The height is not controlled by the AP. but the Elevator trim can be adjusted manually.
NB. If the Avionics power is turned off whilst the AP. is engaged, turning on the Avionics will not then restore the AP. The Auto Controls lever must be reset to 'SPIN' and then 'IN' reselected.
The Centre mousewheel button must be enabled to use the Rollout function in the Virtual Cockpit view.
