This package contains three different YS-11s, representing All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Air Nippon (ANK) in their "Triton Blue" livery. ANA aircraft is available in both standard passenger and combi configurations.
All Nippon Airways introduced the YS-11 on their route network in September 1965, and the aircraft stayed in service until August 1991. ANA YS-11 aircraft carried the name "Olympia" (in Japanese) on the forward fuselage. This dates to the 1964 Summer Olympic held in Tokyo. Before the games, All Nippon Airways' YS-11 was used to carry the Olympic Flame around Japan. After retirement by ANA, their subsidiary Air Nippon continued to use YS-11 until 2003. In addition to servicing routes to various airports in Hokkaido from their Sapporo Okadama (RJCO) hub, Air Nippon flew a route between Tokyo Haneda airport and Oshima with their YS-11s. Typical destinations in Hokkaido included Hakodate (RJCH), Wakkanai (RJCW), Memanbetsu (RJCM) and Nakashibetsu (RJCN). |
In this v2.7 release several small changes, improvements and fixes have been introduced. Some of them more visible than others. Below is a brief summary of the most important additions: |
|
This manual is intended to give you all the information required to operate the AFG's NAMC YS-11 v2.7 for FS2004 as realistically as possible. The manual has been divided into two main sections. The first part covers the main instrument panel and the various sub-panels instrument by instrument. The second part introduces you to the procedures required to use them all. Please note, that this release of the YS-11 is no longer compatible with FS2002! |
In this manual the focus is on the systems and gauges unique to the YS-11. We do not cover basics such as radio navigation. We assume that required knowledge has been obtained from other sources. |
Please note that as it was necessary to make some slight changes to the texturing of certain parts, there might be some problems with other YS-11 repaints. However, we have tried to minimize the effects of those changes. |
All feedback regarding this manual or add-on in general is welcome. Please contact us through our website or e-mail. All contact information is available on our wesite at: |
