How to do the famous killer stunts
 and boring stunts in aircraft,

Intoduction

As you will probably know this plane in pic 1-1 is the extra300s, max speed is 220 knots and the Ideal height to fly for me is about 1,000ft – 10,000ft.any lower you will be dead any higher, well you’ll explode due to air pressure etc etc. Turning in an Extra is difficult, if you are going 12 knots and you turn left, (and you don’t try to recover) you will go round in circles and throw up. Anyway to the stunts.

Loop the Loop…

One that most people know and know what it feels like if you have been on a roller coaster. In Pic 1-2 the smoke system shows most of the first loop and half of the second, and is quite simple to do. There is 2 ways of Loop,

  1. Looping towards the sky,

  1. Looping towards the Ground,

To loop towards the sky just pull back on the yoke.

To loop towards the ground push forwards on the yoke.

In pic 1-2 I was looping towards the sky.

(Pic 2-2)

Barrel Roll.

(pic1-3)

The barrel roll is rolling across towards the left or right,

Simple to do, on your yoke turn fully left or right. This will cause the extra to spin in the direction you have chosen. While you roll it may cause the plane to pitch up or down, that is the problem you may have to push or pull the yoke while turning in the direction you chosen.

These above where very simple in a plane like the extra as it was built to do these stunts, lets try with different aircraft, how about the Boeing 747-400 (The Jumbo Jet).

Fly Upside-down

Yer, ok maybe your thinking they’re not killer stunts, try these for brutal difficulty!

Killer Stunts, (don’t try these in real life, real stunt pilots can’t even do these!)

(pic3-1)

Spazticated Landing,

Ever tried taking off normally, do your flying, then Spaz up and do a stunt that will be impossible in real life, then land rolling backwards??? You think im joking? It’s simple but I’ve only tried it an extra so far. Here is what 2 do. Look at the pics for more help below.

  1. First take off normally as you would with any other aircraft Difficulty: 2.LOWER THAN NOVICE
  2. Fly normally and do some stunts if you wish, Difficult: Depends on what stunts, normal flying : 4.Easy
  3. Fly low-ish and pull back on the yoke turn left and puss the rudder pedals in the left position  Difficulty: 5.Advance Pilots
  4. let the aircraft stop by its self Difficulty: 1.You don’t have to do anything

(pic 3-2 to pic 3-5)

Difficulty Levels

  1. Don’t have to do anything
  2. LOWER THAN NOVICE
  3. Very Easy
  4. Easy
  5. Advance Pilots
  6. Moderate
  7. Hard
  8. Pro
  9. Expert
  10. Superman

1 is the easiest

10 is the hardest

100 is Sub Zero

(10 is not sexist women can do it like men to! E.g. Patty Wagstaff)

Unfortunately I can not find any more stunts to show you or how to do them, but here are some aircraft that you should have a go at doing loop the loop in them.

Aircraft

Extra 300s

Probably the best plane to do stunts and aerobatics in.

Landmark 1123 Boeing 747-400

Well it’s a great civil jet but can’t cope very well with stunts.

Supermarine Spitfire MXI

The best WWII plane ever built! But is very good at stunts, still keep a parachute handy.

Cessna 182RG

The best Cessna for stunts.

Mcdouglas F/A 18

Good fighter jet but way to fast for stunts.

Schweizer 2-32 Sailplane

I’m not even going to comment about this at stunts!

Have a good time doing stunts. Give me an email and tell me new stunts that I could put in and how you getting on with any planes that I didn’t list above. If you’re wondering how to take screen shots in FS2002 just press the PRINT SCRN button on the left of the scroll lock and copy into an image program, I used paint.
