Pilot's Handling Notes for a Savoia Marchetti S.M.81 with Gnome et Rhone GR14K engines

**************************************************************************************

The three 650hp Gnome et Rhone (Isotta Fraschini) GR14K engines have automated mixture controls, and manually applied carb heat controls. Superchargers give war emergency power up to 3500 metres and rated power to much higher altitude. This aircraft has two pitch screws operated by the flight engineer whose role is automated within FS9. After climb the screws are locked in course pitch.

Each engine can briefly deliver 740hp for TOGA and war emergency use below 3500 metres.

WAR EMERGENCY POWER - After take off never exceed 1.0 C2 except in war emergency.

NEVER EXCEED 2390 RPM

AUTOMIXTURE - This engine has Automixture in real life. Turn automixture ON in the FS9 realism screen before flight.

Design cruise altitude is 5000 metres.
