This archive contains fictional scenery for the city of Roswell, New Mexico. Roswell is probably best know for the alien spacecraft which many people claim crashed there in 1947. The real Roswell has a certain amount of alien decor, it is mostly kept to the downtown area for tourists to see. The city's main industries are oil and cheese.

This scenery does show a small amount of alien referances, its main purpose is to introduce a new series of sceneries which will be made available to Flight Simulator enthusiasts. What you will be able to see is a large number of custom high rises and real North American chains, including restaurants, department stores, hotels, and lots more. While the chains are real, their placements are not intended to reflect their real world locations.

Installation

Install this scenery as you would with any other. If you have never installed scenery before, visit the link at the bottom of this file, and go to the tutorials section.

Acknowledgements

Many people have contributed ideas for this scenery, I couldn't name them all, but thanks just the same. It couldn't have been built without the following applications, and the hard work of their creators:

  • Airport 2.6
  • Flight Simulator Design Studio 1.42
  • Paint Shop Pro 7.0
  • Terminal Reality Inc. who created the FLY! series of flight simulators. Many FLY! textures have been converted to bitmap format and are included in this scenery.
