STARTING  set:-

Main Tank cock open, Auxiliary cock[s] closed.

Throttle slightly open. Mixture rich.

Turn Magnetos on and Start engine [Using CTL+E].

TAKEOFF:-

Run up to 1,000 rpm, release brakes and increase to full throttle.

Minimum Take Off speed is 65 mph.

Safety speed is 80 mph.

Reduce to 2,100 rpm. at 500 ft.,

CLIMB:-

Adjust trim [ approx +0.7]to Climb at 140 mph. ≈ 2,100 rpm.

At 3,000 ft. set about 30 ~ 40% mixture. – (check EGT & rpm.)

CRUISE:-

Trim for ≈155 mph. and ≈2,150 rpm.

APPROACH:-

Ensure Auxiliary cock[s] are on. Trim for ≈100 mph. and 1,350 rpm.

FINALS:-

Trim for 80 mph. and 1,000 rpm. [for ≈ -500 fpm.]

FLARE:-

70 - 65 mph. and Minimum rpm.
