Navigation
A direct route from Arequipa to La Paz is about 98 degrees.Maintain an easterly heading, but follow the low terrain, staying below 16,000 feet as much possible. Eventually you'll pick up the La Paz NDB on your radio. You will probably pass over the southern end of Lake Titicaca.
Try to resist the temptation to look at the GPS or Flight Simulator map, instead, rely on your eyes and the ADF radios in your plane. Use the Autopilot if you need to. The truth is, your GPS wont save you. Success lies in following the low terrain.
Altitude Sickness
Through the deviousness of the missions system, everytime you exceed 16,000 feet, a counter begins to tick. If you spend too long up there, the mission will fail, however, every time you drop below 16,000 it stops the counter. Just in case you were thinking of spiralling up to 18,000 and flying directly across, DON'T DO IT.
Communications
You will receive all communications in the form of text messages on the left of your screen.
