Navigation

Your planned route takes you from Munich Airport (EDDM) almost straight north to Hamburg Airport (EDDH). For the complete flight plan, see the Navigation Log on the Kneeboard (press SHIFT+F10 to display/hide).

Expect your initial clearance out of Munich to include a climb to 10,000 feet on runway heading (260 degrees). ATIS will tell you all about the weather that you need to know it will not be a joy-ride.

You can navigate in this mission by following the Mission Compass and Mission Pointer. For a more challenging experience, you can turn the Mission Compass and Mission Pointer off (press U).

A note on courses and waypoints: You will face strong variable winds. The courses assigned to you should get you roughly to the next waypoint, but take care that you don't pass them too distant. Being as close as 2 nm should normally do.

Communications

Your captain will handle all radio communications during the flight. Your callsign is "Lufthansa 044."
