Description of the Fly
You start the Mission already standing on Runway 34 R of Seattle Tacoma. The weather conditions are nearly perfect. The wind is straight against the runway heading and a few clouds are seen at 2500 and 6500 feet. If everything goes normely you will start in normal procedures, that means, check at 80 knots, V1 at 124 knots, VR at 135 kn and V2 at 143 kn. After takeoff you only have to fly the airplane straight in runway heading. At about 800 ft you have to activate the autopilot and after this the autopilot will do the job of coursholding until the final approach on runway 28 R of Portland. In the following phases of climbing, crousing and descending you can concentrate yourself on the vertical values of the fly and the speed. For depature you fly the HAROB TWO depature-route. The demanded altitute after takeoff is 12.000 ft. Expect the clearance to climb to the cruising altitute of 19.000 ft between the waypoints BREMM and HABOR.
After cruising, you reach the TOP OF DESCEND in a distance of 49 miles to the waypoint Battleground. At first you have to descend to demanded altitute of the center while you slow down the speed to 250 kn After the waypoint battleground you have to descend to the altitute of 5000 ft. In this phase you slow down the aircraft speed to 200 kn and begin also to lower down the flaps. At the waypoint REED the autopilot will fly a right turn and you have to descend to 3000 ft and reduce the speed to 175 kn. Near by HANAH you reach the glidepath of runway 28 R and you have to activate the approach-function (APP) of the autopilot, so that the autopilot will bring you in a good position for a happy landing. Lower down the gears and give full flaps. At about 1500 ft you have to deactivate the autopilot and land the aircraft manuel. Do not deactivate the autothrottle at that moment. Wait until 500 ft and land the aircaft with a speed of 140 kn. The mission ends if the aircarft is not faster then 60 kn.
