The codelegend Turbo Pack for FSX contains modified Beechcraft Baron 58 and Cessna 172 aircraft collections from FSX. Engine modifications have been made to simulate the additional performance and different characteristics of turbocharged engines. Modified gauges and glass panel displays reflect the increased fuel flow and manifold pressures. These aircraft can fly at slightly higher altitudes, or maintain increased cruise speeds. Engine throttle and propeller management during takeoff and landing requires more care compared to the original normally aspirated engine versions.

All folders must merge directly into your FSX Program folder. The folder is generally located in the "Program Files" directory, as:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X"
or on 64 bit systems:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X"
Choose to "Extract All..." files into the FSX Program Folder and choose to allow the directories to merge during the process.
The codelegend FSX Turbo Pack compressed file contains the proper folder structure to merge directly with FSX's Program Folders. Please allow the extraction process to copy all the folders and files.
Alternatively, unzip into a temporary folder for inspection. The files can be manually copied to the proper locations when required.
When Ideal Flight finds a new aircraft in the FSX program folder, a check is made for a file named If.ini stored in the aircraft SimObjects folder. If.ini contains the settings you want Ideal Flight to start using when New Flights are generated for the aircraft.
Addon Aircraft Developers can include the preferred Ideal Flight settings for their addon aircraft in this file.
