You do not have to follow the Mission Compass. Many of the Mission pylons are there to merely point out the sights along the way. From "Spot Plane" view, you should be able to easily see the railroad tracks in most places. Also listen to the clues provided in the messages.

Thereis a chart provided as an aid, with the approximate route. The route does not need to be precise, the only penalties are for crashing or not making the appointed landings.

Communications

When the message says to contact ATC, or Limon traffic, etc, it means to use the FSX air traffic control system.
