In 1935 Grant McConachie flew a Ford Trimotor from Calgary to Vancouver. This was the first commercial flight across the Rocky Mountains. In this flight you will retrace his steps taking the Tri Motor to the highest it can go in this 5 hour flight. You can save the flight part way through and continue later. Grant had to stop half way to deice his plane at a remote aerodrome. Those waiting in Vancouver thought he had crashed on the way and just about gave up when he finally arrived. You will have to fly up to 14,500 feet to clear the mountains, this is the ceiling of the TriMotor so if the conditions aren't right you may have to manouver around some mountains. Beware of Icing conditions as well. There is a flight plan included.
Copy the files in the "Flight Files" folder and place them in your Flight Simulator Files folder that should be in your "My Documents" folder. Load the flight in Flight Simulator and load the flight plan "Grants_Flight".
